Metal Mouth

Woah!
I never thought that it would be this tough. It hurts. :(
I never expected this to be that hard to eat. Having this braces doesn't bug me off, really. But the thing is, I can't eat my favorite food. Suffer. Struggle. Since Friday night, I've been suffering from toothaches. Ugh. Even with brushing your teeth, it hurts.
But to my good friends, Pauline and Leika, thank you so much for the advices.
Now, the hard thing is, how would I cover it for people not to look at this embarassing face. I look different and I feel different that I have something in my mouth that is annoying. Soo, good luck for me them. Thank God, this metal pain seems to be tolerable.
Btw, sssshhhh! Don't tell anyone.

Another Look at Jinx

We're back! I'm here to show all of you that this would be my new book report. I've read this for 3 times already and I finally made my dicision. The story of this novel is pretty good.

Here is a little background of the story:

It wasn't just the power failure the night Jean Honeychurch was born that earned her the nickname Jinx: misfortune seems to follow her wherever she goes. Which is why she's been shipped off to New York to stay with relatives including her sophisticated cousin Tory until the trouble she's caused back in her small hometown dies down. Tory couldn't care less about Jinx until Jinx's chronic bad luck starts wreaking havoc in Tory's perfect world. Only then does Jinx learn that beneath Tory's big-city glamour lies a world of hatred and revenge. And now Jean's jinx could be the only thing that can save her life ...

So, watch out for this book 'cause it'll amaze you! joking.

'Pierre'

The kids in the Junior Masterchef, (here is their picture:)

They look pretty young, right? But you won't expect that as young as they look they cook like professionals. Just watch Junior Masterchef every Sunday at 7:15 p.m. We must not under estimate their skills 'vause when it's cooking they would know how to beat me. I don't know how to cook on my own. I think they've been left at the kiychen since they were in their diapers. They could cook any dish. It may be an appetizer, main course, or even pastries. But as young as they are, they already had their goals set.
HAHA.

Now, here's Pierre, my favorite of them all.

Name: Pierre
State: New South Wales
Age: 12
Specialty Dish: Herb Crusted Lamb Cutlets with Stuffed Mushrooms and Green Beans
Least Favourite Food: Eggplant, zucchini and fennel

Game Plan: “To keep focused and try my best.”

He cooks so well. I like him because even if all the kids were rushing left to right, he remains calm. He's a silent worker. He wants to be steady and just go on with his cooking. In one of the episodes, you will see that he is a great team captain and that's what I liked the most. He's also good-looking and cute! He's just 12 years-old and every one of them can cook better than me. So, just take a glimpse of the action in Junior Masterchef.

'Jinx'

So, I've made up my mind and decided to change my book report. I decided to have my first choice, Jinx. I've already read it when I was 2nd year. It would be easy for me since I've already read twice and ready to do the book report.

I'll introduce it to you next time.

'Pierre'

PIERRE.
You know him?
He's the 11 year-old kid joining the Junior MasterChef. He's simply one of the children that makes me jealous. He cooks so well that that judges tap the table. Well, tapping the table means that he or she has cooked a good dish. Just look at him do his 'thing'. He's soooo cool! Gosh! Of all the children in the competition, he's the one who got my attention. So, I always look forward seeing him in the show.
If you want to see him just watch Junior Masterchef and see other Little Chef paving their way to reaching their dreams.

Junior Masterchef

Junior Masterchef is a cooking show seen in StarWorld. It's a competition in Australia that shows children (ages 8-12) cooking. It shows us that age doesn't matter when it comes to talent.

I really admire and envy the kids because I'm not good at cooking. In a short time, they were able to think of amazing dishes and they cook like professionals. Mouth-watering dishes always make me hungry and visit the refrigerator. Looking at them cooking, inspires me to become a Masterchef someday. Note that... SOMEDAY.

Check it out if you have the dream of becoming a chef and be inspired by those little people.

A Dream Within A Dream

A Dream Within A Dream by Edgar Allan Poe
Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow--
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.

I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand--
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep--while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?

Nobody knows this little Rose

Nobody knows this little Rose by Emily Dickinson
Nobody knows this little Rose --
It might a pilgrim be
Did I not take it from the ways
And lift it up to thee.
Only a Bee will miss it --
Only a Butterfly,
Hastening from far journey --
On its breast to lie --
Only a Bird will wonder --
Only a Breeze will sigh --
Ah Little Rose -- how easy
For such as thee to die!

The Road Not Taken

The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

INFATUATION

You simply brighten up my day,
in so many reasons and ways.
Seeing you makes me like you more.

Being with you takes away all my sores.

LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. That's not all.

Everytime I look at you, it makes me fall.

But it's not yet what they call 'True Love'.
Those admirations will only fly away like a dove.

'Infatauation' is the only word
that makes me what to be connected with you like a chord.

This picture of you in my hand will be kept,

it will always be you, Johnny Depp.

My Guardian Angel

It's very dark when I go to sleep.
But my Angel's here to guard and keep.

Guiding me gently through the night,

Filling my dreams with joyful light.

She shines on me from up above,

A bright reminder from a world of love.

-My Angel and me book.

Loosen up and I''ll lock it up

Just listen to the beat of my heart.
It shouts out your name.
Loosen up your heart
'Cause I'll lock it up with my love.

'Love'

You can fake up your pretty face.

You can lie to me with who you are.

And if all the things I know about you may not be true,

Note this: I like you and I'll always love you!

-LOVE-

World of Sweets!

I'm dreaming of a world of sweets.
A waterfall of chocolate.

A lava of Nutella.

Spaceships made up of chocolate chip cookies.

Baloon made up of jelly aces.

And some gummy bear neighbors!

Isn't it fun?

HAHAHAHA!

Meet The Man in My Dreams

Waaaaah!
Okaay. It's just me and my silly crush on Johnny Depp. Actually, I don't see him in my dreams as it is stated in the title. But I just would like all of you to meet him.

Okaay. So, it's time to leave. Just gaze at his picture but don't get too close you might fall. HAHA.
Have to go! Bye!

Jet Set

Hello!:D This is a book entitled Jet Set by Carrie Karasyon and Jill Kargman. Here is the summary of its story. I'm Lucy Peterson, and let me tell you-there are plenty of times when I feel like I don't fit in my school in Switzerland. Caviar at every meal, white-tie affairs (because black tie is so last season), trips to Geneva to pick up the latest couture, and real live royals lurking around every corner? None of that is really my speed. Only nowI'm falling all over myself to impress my crush, who just happens to be a prince. On top of that, I've gotten myself tangled up ina tabloid disaster-literally-and the "It" clique on campus has decided that I am worthy nof their evil scorn. Okay, okay, I have to remember to stay positive. And to breathe. But what have I gotten myself into? *So, it's just a little sneak peak of my Book Report. See you next time!:D

Fun at Boracay

BORACAY is the place where you can feel nature's bountiful gifts. BORACAY is the answer to your thirst for fun. Last January 14, 2011 we went to Boracay for a family reunion. We enjoyed the company of such courteous people. We enjoyed feeling its ambiance. The white sand filled our eyes with pleasure. The smell of the beach every 6 a.m made me feel at home. Oh, BORACAY, I miss you! Just keep yourself updated for more of my experiences in Boracay!

New Year, New Life

Busy sidewalks, deafening firecrackers, eye-catching fireworks signals the start of our celebration for the coming of a new year. Whaat?! A new year is coming and I'm not yet sure if I'm ready for a change. We all have our new year's resolution, right?! So I'm thinking of some things that must be changed in me. How about you? This morning, during our general assembly, Sr. Ma. Paz told us that we should make one resolution for year 2011 because if we would have so many resolutions, we are not going to fulfill it. She said that we should focus on one thing for to improve and you'll excel.

BOOOORING!
Let's move on.
So, how was your celebration of New Year? Well it was deafening and eye-cracking for me. We enjoyed ourselves making weird noises coming from a can, horn, whistle and even from the pots and pans. We craked our eyes with watching a 'fountain'. Well, you can't see those colorful fireworks from our view. it's like you're isolated from those party people. But I'd never thought that I would have this wonderful Christmas and New Year. I may not have the best gifts but I had a great time being with my little brother, uncle, aunt and cousins.
